Draslovka, a global leader in sustainable chemical technologies, has published its 2024 Sustainability Report, highlighting significant strides in environmental innovation, ESG governance, and climate impact reduction.

In 2024, Draslovka advanced its transformation into a provider of sustainability-led technologies and services across mining, agriculture, and specialty chemicals. The company’s updated sustainability strategy, aligned with the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), reflects a robust commitment to transparency, innovation, and measurable impact.

Key achievements include:

  • Completion of a CSRD-aligned Double Materiality Assessment and the introduction of ESG targets across environmental, social, and governance pillars.
  • Full disclosure of Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions, with Scope 3 reporting planned for 2025.
  • Continued commercialization of Glycine Leaching Technology (GLT), which reduces CO₂e emissions by up to 170 kg per ton of nickel equivalent and significantly lowers sodium cyanide use in gold mining.
  • Expansion of sustainable fumigants like EDN™, which offers a 98% lower global warming potential than conventional alternatives.
  • Strengthened ESG governance through dedicated committees, enhanced data frameworks, and new employee engagement initiatives.

Pavel Brůžek Jr., CEO of Draslovka, commented:

“2024 was a pivotal year in our journey to become a global leader in sustainable industrial transformation. Our technologies are not only reducing emissions but also unlocking access to critical resources essential for the net zero transition. I am proud of the dedication shown by our teams and partners, and I look forward to building on this momentum to drive even greater impact in the years ahead.”
